The Square N Tape was invented by me, Tom Noon, a journeyman carpenter.  I am an Illinois native who has worked in and around the Chicago Suburbs since 1990 on both commercial and residential construction projects.  The Square N Tape was inspired by my experience as well as my creativity.  An innovator, I am constantly striving to make the job and job site both safer and more efficient through modifications to technique and tool.

In 2011, the Square N Tape was brought to market through collaboration with FastCap, LLC of Bellingham, Washington.
